About Himalayan Asha Old Aged Home:

This old age home started from the year 2025.
This old age home is very famous old age home in Siliguri only because of the livelihood of the people residing in it.
They are helping the old people by the donation which is given by the donor to them.
They are not getting any help or grant from the government, but still there are more than 15 people living their life very
helpful happily or joyfully.
Many of the organizations help this organization by directly or indirectly. One can help them by cash or kind.

Achievements of the Organizations:

Organization have organized various program related to religion and society.
Governor of Lions Club has visited the organization and donated clothes to the member.
This organization is government approved.

Keen purposes of the Organization: -

Planning of various literature activities to promote old age home.
To provide aid to helpless, widow, women encouragement program, abolishment of dowry system, family planning etc.
Provide help to physically disable person, blind or mentally retarded people.
Arrange various seminar for the promotion of betterment of society.
Organize various camps for health-related activities, blood donation camp.
Provide education to physically disabled person, blind or mentally retarded people.
It provides free books, free computer education, physiotherapy center health center etc

Activity of the Organization:-

It provides ordinary and hygiene dinner at night.
Three times Tea.
Along with these all things, old people are provided with bed, pillow, blanket, clothes and utensils and all other things required to live day to day life.
They are also given a separate locker to keep their belongings.
In addition to all these things people are giving medical treatment free of cost and also perform funeral ceremonies for dead people's very systematically.
Organization keeps religious tours for the members two to three times in a year.
Organization gets funds to run this organization from donors who don't disclose their name
There is a good sitting arrangement outside of the organization with 10 number of seats

Specific Objectives:

To establish a well-constructed, well managed, community participated and safe Old Aged home at a suitable place.
To ensure adequate nourishment and clothes for the targeted the poor helpless and destitute an Old Aged person.
To ensure access to instant and quality health care for the poor helpless and destitute an Old Aged persons so that they can get awareness on health and hygienic issues.
To create an effective an Old Aged friendly learning environment for the poor helpless and destitute an Old Aged persons within the Old Aged Home, so that they can live peacefully as their own Home.
To provide an Old Aged person's access to fellowship activities, recreational facilities, mental support, social affairs and spiritual formation.
